I want to make a piece that showcased the landscape and the emotions that I was going through the night I left LA. At the beginning of the corona virus pandemic, and how the night I left all of the grape vine was completely shut down and made it very difficult to get out of LA.
These are some shots of the first draft of the pieces this was made up of only building, and had a lower emitter of light from the build which made the building lost a lot of there definition. So in the next render, I wanted to work on that.
The second render I added a lot more models to communicate the landscape of LA; with the addition of mountains and palm trees. I then decided to go with a white instead of a pink to see how it would enhance it lighting and even though I do feel that it made the buildings more defined I think it was missing the emotion that I was looking for so I decided to switch over to red for the final render.
